"Fatigue in the morning then a bit of a scrape out in the desert with Arabs. One of our Regiment got cut off from the rest, we had a few wounded. There had been a mist rise up in the morning and the Arabs had crept up in cover of the mist. We are told to keep a sharp look-out when we go on Patrol."
